Unity FC beat Napoli SL by a lone goal to nil with a trio from the Western Area Community Referees Asscociation (WACRA) officiating the match.

The COFA Public Reletions Officer, Alimamy Sesay, explained that he was satisfied with the job that this crop of referees (from WACRA) were performing. He mentioned that the impasse with the Western Area Football Referees Association (WAFRA) has still not been resolved, though did not add or alude to any steps being taken to mend that bridge.

Yesterday's game had Isaac Sesay, Mohammed Koroma & Mohammed Cox Koroma(center ref) in charge. They explained at half-time that WACRA was not yet affliated with WAFRA, though they are in the process of doing so. They have been a grass roots, community based, referees group and they have not had any formailsied certification yet. Isaac reveled that his playing days are over due to age but Mohammed and Cox certainly look like fit young atheletes. Cox himself played for Obama FC in the past but says he enjoys refereeing and the physical challenge of being mentally sharp and keeping up with the play.

The match itself was a midfield battle but lacking in great delivery in the final third. That being said Napoli SL did force top notch saves out of Unity FC's keeper who was undoubetly the man of the match. After a goaless first half, Unity went ahead with a through a loan goal in the 75th minute.
