Leone Stars' Reserve Keeper, Alhaji Douda Conteh Passes Away Featured

Jakatosports joins the sporting family in Sierra Leone in expressing it's shock and sadness of the Leone Stars reserve goalkeeper Alhaji Douda Conteh. Alhaji, came from a growing list of goalkeepers who were graduates from Fourth Bay College. He played for East End Lions FC , FC Kallon, and Diamond Stars.

Conteh read accounting at Fourah Bay College. He was known as a gentle person, kind and devoted. He was a Premier League winner with Diamond Stars as they won back to back titles with Conteh being part of the second title winning squad.

Summing up reactions to his untimely death is his collegemate, former teammate, Ibrahim Sorie, who was ultimately instrumental in signing him over from Kallon FC to Diamond Stars: "Wow! This is so shocking! Was my college mate. Played with him on the FBC football team and later signed him from Kallon FC for Diamond Stars FC. Very talented and devoted footballer. He will be sorely missed by football fans across the sad. "
