SLFA Extraordinary Congress Shifted to March

Sierra Leone football Association’s (SLFA) extraordinary congress which was slated for today 25th February, aimed at resolving a long-standing dispute has been shifted to March 5, 2017, the Minister of Sports Ahmed Khanu confirmed on Friday 24, 2017.

Sierra Leone National Stadium Pavilion Renovated

The Presidential Pavilion of the Siaka Stevens Stadium in Freetown has had 950 chairs installed as part of The Stadium’s upgrade to an all-seater international standard.

So Fatma Samoura's visit to Sierra Leone actually happened, after reportedly being delayed twice. The Secretary General of the Western Area Referees Football Association has gone further than just condemning Central One Football Association's suspension of three Referees last week.

According to reports reaching JakatoSports, FC Kallon Secretary Blamoh Roberts, has confirmed that top football clubs will boycott any attempt by the Sierra Leone Football Association(SLFA) to revive the National Premier League without holding congress first, according to a report.
